Everyone loves a good “islands challenge” in Minecraft. Starting with very limited resources in a vast ocean world and building up from nothing on a desert island. So satisfying! 

What if there was a SMP server where players could together experience the challenges of islands in Minecraft? 
Welcome to Shimajima: Minecraft Islands! The only true islands SMP server. Created by vanilla enthusiasts, the server respects all the great aspects of vanilla Minecraft adding just enough enhancements to make the experience compelling for solo players and teams alike. 

If you look at our ocean world you will see that the islands come in all shapes, sizes, and biomes and every island has a tiny village on it which you can grow into a thriving community. You can even expand beyond a single island and build a multi-island empire by going to war with neighboring islands. 

Shimajima: Minecraft Islands is an enthusiast’s server run by enthusiasts. There is no Pay-to-Win, no voting, no OP gear and crates. The server is funded purely on donations from the community. We’re a gaming family, not a gaming company.
